MISS OYSTERFEST IS BACK AT THE MARTHA LUIGI AUDITORIUM !! WE ARE SO EXCITED!!
This is our 11th Annual Miss Oysterfest Scholarship Pageant and it is open for girls ages 0-19 from all over Texas. The following age groups with the following costs will apply. You do not have to live in Rockport to join the pageant. The winner of the Miss Oysterfest in the 15-19 age group will receive a Scholarship of $1000.00 that she will receive when she starts her first year of college. We are very excited to be continue this tradition.
We need you to print out or fill out the form below and we will get it emailed to us. If you choose the online application you will receive an email where you can pay the entry fee online through PayPal. If you print the form out and wish to turn it in you can call 361-463-1268 to get information on how to turn it in. All judges come from out of town and will not know any contestants. We want to make sure it is fair and partial for every girl. We have ran the Miss Oysterfest pageant fairly for the last 11 years and we are proud to see how far it has come. 12-14 years .....................................................Teen Miss Oysterfest - $95.00 - Starts at 12:00 p.m. - arrive at 11:30
15 – 19 years ............................................................Miss Oysterfest - $150.00 - Starts at 6:30 p.m. - - arrive at 1:45

For ages 15-19 in the Miss OYSTERFEST, the information BELOW will be read to the judges, before the pageants starts. All that will be read on stage of the information will be the following
Judges Interview - There will be a Interview Portion at 2:00 this year. After you are done we will feed you around 4:00 and then we will do the Pageant Practice. The judges panel at 2:00 is a different panel of judges who will judge at night.
Day Interview - Contestants will arrive at 1:45 and a panel of judges will interview each girl for 5 minutes.
Casual wear - Contestant name & Number will be read. (Cute & Casual outfit of their choice)
Introduction Of Contestants - Girls will say a short intro for themselves (In the same cute and casual outfit)
Evening Gown - Contestant name - Age - and her parents name. (Evening Gown)
Interview - Contestant name & Number. (Will wear the same evening gown)
We have decided to simplify the on stage competitions. The judges will meet all the girls before the pageant and we will tell all of them the below information as they meet each girl. They are the judges and are the only ones who needs to know this. We want to run the show in a way where it flows smoothly and not let the judges have to listen to so much information on stage. When they are trying to listen to the information many times they get distracted and have a hard time scoring them. So this will be much easier for the girls in these age groups.
For ages 2-14 age groups in the Daytime pageant, the information on their bio sheets will be read when they are on stage. THEY WILL WEAR ONE OUTFIT- THEIR EVENING GOWN or dress of your choice.
With the restrictions on the venue, we will need the girls to come ready. Hair and face done before arriving. We would prefer them to come dressed if possible. If that is not possible y'all can take turns using the fitting room but it will have to be one at a time. The fitting rooms will not be to get hair and makeup for the younger girls.
Also the 2-3 year old and the 4-6 year old will be allowed to only have one parent with them back stage. It is our plan to have the 7-9 year olds 10 & 11 year olds and 12-14 year olds will be back stage with us. We do not plan to have a parent in the fitting rooms with them back stage. If there is a problem I can discuss them case by case.
The girls for the 2-14 year age groups, will only be wearing the one outfit and will be judged on Stage Presence, Personality, Outfit & Overall. We will crown the winners at the end of each hour for the perspective age groups.
The girls during the day will walk out from back stage center. They will then walk the universal circle, and then the letter T. When the 2-3 year olds finish the letter T they will exit the stage. The 4-6 , 7-9 - 10-12 and 12-14 will walk the and finish the T they will stop in the from stage center. Then they will be asked a question based on the information you put on their entry form. Its not a scored interview, its just there to keep them on the stage longer and to show some of their personality. So age 4-14 will be asked a question.
